8 Little Buddies : Ft. Langley Portrait Photographer

Prepare for photo over load!

Finally after many months of gloom in the Fraser Valley we’ve hit the jack pot with some beautiful sunny, warm weather. I feel like literally jumping for joy. When I saw the forcast I instantly messaged my girl friends and we booked an afternoon to head out with all the kids so I could get behind the lens and snap some portraits. I love doing this for my friends, it is a great excuse to get together and who doesn’t love having new updated pictures of your little ones. Thanks again ladies, it was fun to see you all and if I must say so, we have some pretty cute kidlets.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! These turned out fabulously! The kids look awesome! Thanks again Kendra, I love them :)

A Fresh New Start

It has been a long while since I posted because… Kevin and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Quinn Ellery was born in the beginning of December, I have been a busy mom with a newborn and a very temperamental two year old. I am really hoping to find a good balance between, stay at home mom and photographer over the next year or two.

I’ve been re-vamping my website and branding, this has made me excited to jump back into photo sessions and editing. I would love some feed back about my new website…what do you like or dis-like? Help me out to ensure this site is easy and fun to browse around.

I would really love to share a few of my short-term and long-term goals for this business and myself as a photographer. I really hope to grow my business but most importantly hope to learn more and more every week and provide memories that you as clients will love and cherish forever.

1. Attend a workshop (portrait & newborn)

2. Grow my client base

3. Book 2-5 sessions per month, starting April 2012

4. Be happy with where I am as a photographer. Also be proud of what I am doing and not upset with what I THINK I should be doing.

5. Practise, practise & practise (I do have two adorable children, I have no good excuse not to whip out my camera)

6. Learn more about Lightroom

7. I am sure there are a few more, I am just having a ‘late’ night mind blank

I hope I can accomplish all this, I know some of you out there will help me out!  Remember to email me if your interested in a session, its never to early to book a shoot.

Hi Kendra,
Congrats on the birth of your little girl! Hope all is going well having two little ones at home. :) I really like the look of your new site. It’s clear, easy to read, fresh and feminine. I love the little details, like the ribbons with the dates. All the best with accomplishing your photography goals!

Dehaas Family : Aldergrove Family Photographer

This is going to be my last post before our 2nd babe arrives, Lord willing 2 weeks from now. I’ve had a great fall and appreciate all the support from new and old friends. Last weekend I was able to enjoy the snow with friends of mine in Aldergrove to snap some family pictures. Little miss Petra was so great, thanks Michelle and James! Seriously what a beautiful family.
